My education at The University of Iowa has been very rewarding. Through my experience at the University, I have been shaped into a more mature, focused, and industrious person. Highlighted on this page are some of the classes I have taken along with notable projects I have worked on.

Design for Manufacturing
Electric Car Project Collaborated with five students in the design and manufacturing of a small scale electric car with goal of maximizing horizontal distance after jumping off a ramp. The team had concluded on a rocket based design for the project. I suggested and implemented a unique spring suspension system similar in concept to those found in planes. I obtained my first exposure to rapid prototyping, and computer aided design and manufacturing through this class. |

Finite Element Analysis Lab sessions were carried out using ANSYS Mechanical. My interest in structures stems partly from this class. Carried out stress, stress and thermal analysis of various components and structures. |

Computational Fluid and Thermal Engineering
Nose Cone Drag Study As members of AIAA partaking in NASA’s Space Grant Midwest High-Power Rocket Competition 2014-2015, my team members and I decided to carry out a drag study on five different nose cone geometries for our final project with the end goal of proposing the best design to AIAA for use in the final rocket design. |
